About the WWV Amateur Radio Club

The WWV ARC is an amateur radio club based in Fort Collins, Colorado.  The club was created in January 2019 to help facilitate the 100th Anniversary of radio station WWV, which is located just north of Fort Collins.

Our Mission Statement:

The WWV Amateur Radio Club (WWV ARC) recognizes and celebrates the historic, scientific, and cultural importance of radio station WWV to amateur radio and the public by sponsoring operating events, supporting ongoing citizen-science efforts, conducting public outreach, endorsing the continuation of Time and Frequency services by NIST and radio stations WWV, WWVB, and WWVH, and promoting the collegiality of Amateur Radio and its service to the public.

The club recently re-organized and will begin accepting members at the end of September 2021.
